Job Description
HIAB HGV Class 2 Driver – Roofing & Building Materials (Southall)
We’re currently recruiting on behalf of a well-known roofing and building materials supplier in Southall, looking for a HIAB HGV Class 2 Driver for ad-hoc agency work.
Although this is not a full-time role, they’re getting busy during the summer, so there’s potential for regular shifts depending on performance and availability.
Location: Southall
Days: Monday to Friday (day shifts only – as and when needed)
Pay: £20.50 – £24.50 per hour (PAYE including holiday pay)
Minimum 8 hours paid per shift | Overtime after 9 hours
The Role:
* Local multi-drop deliveries of roofing and building supplies with a HIAB Class 2 vehicle
* No warehouse or yard duties
* Delivering to construction sites and trade clients
* You’ll need to offer great customer service and be punctual
Requirements:
* At least 1 year of HGV Class 2 driving experience in the UK
* Minimum 6 months HIAB experience (brick grab or remote)
* Valid UK Class 2 (Cat C) licence with CPC and TACHO
* Valid HIAB certificate (ALLMI or RTITB)
* No more than 6 points – no DR, IN, or TT offences
* Own PPE (safety boots) and a proper sat nav (not phone-based)
* Ready to go when needed – reliable and flexible
