About the school
Are you an experienced and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) looking to take the next step in your education career? We are currently working with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Ealing, West London, seeking a confident and capable HLTA to join their team from September 2025 on a part-time, permanent basis.

Key responsibilities
• Deliver pre-planned lessons to whole classes during teacher absence or release time
• Provide targeted support to individual pupils and small groups, including those with additional needs
• Assist in the planning and assessment of lessons alongside teachers
• Promote positive behaviour and engagement in learning
• Support with classroom organisation and preparation of resources
• Contribute to school life and work collaboratively with all staff members
The ideal candidate will have
• HLTA qualification or equivalent experience in a similar role
• Sound understanding of the primary curriculum (KS1 & KS2)
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• A proactive and adaptable approach to supporting both teachers and pupils
• A passion for helping children reach their full potential
• Experience working in a UK primary school setting is essential
