About the role: higher level teaching assistant (hlta)
As an HLTA, you’ll play a vital role in supporting teaching and learning across Key Stage 1 and 2. You will work closely with class teachers to deliver small group interventions, cover lessons where needed, and support pupils with a variety of learning needs. Your responsibilities will include:
• Leading targeted interventions to accelerate progress
• Delivering planned lessons in the absence of the teacher
• Supporting behaviour management and student engagement
• Contributing to the wider school community and enrichment activities
This is a part-time role, ideal for a qualified HLTA or an experienced TA with proven ability to deliver lessons confidently and effectively.
