Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)
Start Date: September 2025
Contract: Fixed-term for one academic year (with potential to become permanent)
Hours: Full-time
Location: Doncaster
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) for September 2025 !
As a valued member of the school community, you will play a key role in supporting teaching and learning across different year groups, providing high-quality PPA cover as part of the weekly timetable. This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident and flexible HLTA who enjoys working across a range of age groups and is passionate about helping children thrive.
The role will include:
* Delivering lessons to classes across the school as part of PPA cover
* Supporting the delivery of high-quality teaching and learning
* Working collaboratively with teaching staff to plan and assess learning
* Participating in staff meetings
* Undertaking lunchtime supervision duties
* Promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment
The ideal candidate will:
* Hold HLTA status or equivalent qualification/experience
* Have experience working across different primary year groups
* Be confident in delivering lessons independently
* Demonstrate excellent communication and organizational skills
* Be committed to promoting high standards and inclusion for all pupils
