Are you a skilled and passionate HLTA looking to make a significant impact in a primary school environment?
GSL Education are currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to work in schools in Louth. This is a great opportunity for those with experience in supporting teaching and learning at a higher level, assisting teachers in delivering effective and engaging lessons.
Responsibilities as an HLTA:
Deliver high-quality learning support to individual students or small groups.
Support teachers in the planning, preparation, and delivery of lessons.
Take on additional teaching responsibilities as required, including covering classes in the absence of the teacher.
Assist in assessing and tracking student progress.
Promote an inclusive classroom environment, catering to the diverse needs of all students.
Support the teacher in managing classroom behaviour and maintaining a positive learning environment.
Requirements for HLTA:
Recognised HLTA qualification or equivalent experience in a school setting.
Previous experience working as an HLTA or in a similar support role in a primary school is essential.
Strong communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
A valid enhanced DBS certificate registered on the Update Service, or willingness to apply.
A full, up-to-date CV with explanations for any gaps in employment over the last 10 years.
