Are you an experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant ready for your next challenge in Birmingham?
We’re working closely with a thriving, inclusive primary school in Birmingham seeking a dedicated and passionate HLTA to join their team from September 2025.

The school caters to a diverse community and supports a wide range of learners, including those with Special Educational Needs (SEN). As a HLTA, you will play a key role in delivering targeted interventions, covering classes when required, and supporting the school’s inclusive approach to education.
The Role

Leading small group and one-to-one interventions.
*
Covering lessons in the absence of the class teacher.
*
Supporting students with a range of needs, including those with EHCPs and additional learning needs.
*
Assisting in the planning, preparation, and assessment of learning activities.
*
Promoting a positive and engaging learning environment.
Requirements
* HLTA status (or equivalent Level 4 teaching assistant qualification).
* A minimum of 6 months’ experience working with children in the UK school system.
* Sound knowledge of the UK National Curriculum.
* Experience supporting children with SEN.
* Confident managing classroom behaviour and leading learning activities.
* A genuine passion for education and making a positive impact.
