Job Description
Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) - Primary - Ramsbottom🌟This is a fantastic chance to support teaching and learning, take on additional responsibilities, and make a real difference in the classroom.
The Role
Deliver pre-planned lessons to whole classes in the absence of the class teacher
Provide small group or one-to-one support for pupils
Assist with planning, assessment, and classroom management
Work collaboratively with teaching staff and senior leaders to support pupil progress
Prepare learning materials and classroom resources
Promote positive behaviour and a safe, engaging learning environment
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
HLTA qualification or equivalent experience
A DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply through Prospero)
Strong communication, organisation, and classroom management skills
Experience supporting children across EYFS, KS1, or KS2
A proactive, flexible, and positive approach
Own transport preferred due to location and flexibility
To Be Considered, You Must
Be registered with Prospero Teaching (or be willing to register)
Be available full-time, Monday to Friday, term-time only
Be committed to supporting pupils' learning and development
Be eligible to work in the UK
