HLTA - SEND (Wirral) | Immediate Start | £100-£110 per day

Are you an experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant looking to make a real difference in a specialist SEND environment?
 Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a committed and skilled HLTA to join a well-established SEND school on the Wirral, supporting pupils with complex needs. This is a long-term role starting ASAP, offering the chance to work in a warm, supportive and highly collaborative setting.

The Role

As an HLTA, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality support to children with a range of learning needs, including:

Delivering planned lessons and leading small-group interventions

Supporting pupils with communication, sensory and emotional regulation needs

Working closely with teachers, therapists and support staff to create a consistent, nurturing environment

Helping to adapt resources and learning activities to meet individual needs

Encouraging independence, confidence and engagement in every learner

What We're Looking For

We'd love to hear from you if you have:

Experience supporting children with SEND (ASD, SLD, PMLD, SEMH or complex needs)

HLTA qualification or strong TA experience with confidence leading learning

A patient, resilient and child-centred approach

Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team
