Are you an experienced and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) looking to make a meaningful impact in a supportive primary school environment? We are seeking a dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join an outstanding primary school in the vibrant community of Southwark.

As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting teachers and enhancing the educational experience for all children and occasionally covering the class when the teacher has PPA.
Key Responsibilities:
Cover PPA sessions, delivering high-quality learning experiences in line with the curriculum.
Support classroom teachers in planning and preparing lessons.
Work with small groups and individual students to boost their confidence and skills.
Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback to teachers.
Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
Ideal qualifications:
A degree qualification is essential.
Experience working as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant or in a similar role.
Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and effective teaching strategies.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A passion for education and a commitment to fostering student growth and development.
