Salary: £90 - £110 per day (Depending on experience)
Start: Immediate
Contract: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time
Are you an experienced and confident Higher Level Teaching Assistant ready to take on more responsibility and make a real difference in the classroom?
GSL Education are looking to appoint a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) for a supportive and inclusive school in Peacehaven. This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a key role where you will deliver lessons, support pupils’ progress, and contribute to a positive school environment.

Your Responsibilities as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant:
Deliver pre-planned lessons across different year groups in the teacher’s absence.
Support teaching and learning through small group and 1:1 intervention.
Assist in monitoring pupil progress and feeding back to class teachers.
Work collaboratively with teaching staff to plan and adapt learning activities.
Promote a positive, inclusive classroom environment and manage behaviour effectively.
Requirements:
HLTA status or equivalent qualification.
Experience supporting pupils in a primary or secondary school setting.
Confidence in leading lessons and managing classroom routines.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply for one.
