Lead, Support, and Deliver as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant!
GSL Education is currently recruiting Higher Level Teaching Assistants to support pupils and teaching staff in our client schools in Halstead. This is a key opportunity for experienced support staff ready to take a more active role in the classroom.
What You’ll Be Responsible For:
• Delivering small group and whole-class lessons under teacher guidance
• Supporting learners with varied needs, including SEN
• Assisting with lesson planning and resource preparation
• Offering classroom leadership and behavioural support when required
• Working as part of a collaborative team to improve learning outcomes
We’re Looking For:
• HLTA status or significant classroom experience at HLTA level
• Ability to lead learning confidently and independently
• Strong interpersonal and organisation skills
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply through GSL Education)
