Are you an experienced and passionate Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) looking for a new challenge?

We are working with a welcoming and forward-thinking secondary school in Leyland who are seeking a dedicated HLTA to join their team from 3rd November 2025. This is a temporary-to-permanent opportunity, ideal for someone looking to secure a long-term position in a supportive and collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Delivering planned learning activities across a range of subjects, under the guidance of teaching staff
Supporting individual and small groups of students, including those with additional needs
Contributing to planning and assessment in collaboration with teachers
Covering classes in the absence of the teacher when required
Supporting the wider school community and promoting a positive learning environment
Requirements:
HLTA qualification (or equivalent)
Experience working in a secondary school setting
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to engage and motivate students across Key Stages 3 and 4
A proactive and flexible approach to supporting teaching and learning
