Are you an experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) ready to take the next step in your career?

We are currently recruiting for a dedicated and confident HLTA to support teaching and learning across the curriculum. This is a full-time position, perfect for someone passionate about education, confident in leading groups, and able to work independently with students.
🔍 Key Responsibilities:
Planning, preparing, and delivering learning activities under the direction of teaching staff
Leading small group interventions and supporting in-class learning
Covering lessons in the absence of a teacher (PPA cover or short-term absence)
Supporting students with a range of academic and behavioural needs
Assisting with classroom management and contributing to the wider school community
✅ The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
HLTA qualification (or equivalent experience)
Previous experience in a secondary school setting
Strong behaviour management and communication skills
A flexible, proactive, and resilient attitude
A DBS check on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
