We're Hiring: Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) – Full-Time Placement
Are you a qualified Higher Level Teaching Assistant with a passion for supporting children with Additional Learning Needs (ALN)? We have a fantastic opportunity for you to join a brilliant, local village primary school on a full-time basis.
Location: A welcoming, community-focused village primary school
Role Type: Full-Time Placement
Position: Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)
Focus: Supporting and supervising pupils with Additional Learning Needs (ALN)
About the Role:
We are working closely with a supportive and friendly primary school seeking an experienced HLTA to join their dedicated team. You’ll play a key role in:
Supporting children with Additional Learning Needs across KS1 and/or KS2
Confidently supervising and leading a class when required
Working closely with class teachers, ALNCo's, and parents to support student progress
About You:
We’re looking for someone who is:
✅ Qualified as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)
✅ Experienced in working with children with ALN / SEN
✅ Confident leading a class and managing the classroom environment
✅ Committed to inclusive education and supporting every child to achieve their best
✅ A team player with great communication skills
