Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) - Year 3 and Year 4
📍 Queens Park, London
📅 Initial 12-week placement from Monday 13th October 2025 (with the possibility of extension)
We are seeking to appoint an experienced and dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a welcoming primary school in Queens Park. This role is a full-time placement for an initial period of 12 weeks, starting Monday 13th October 2025, with the potential to extend beyond this date.
Key Responsibilities
Leading learning and providing classroom cover in Year 3 and Year 4.
Delivering PPA cover and other planned teaching responsibilities.
Accompanying pupils to weekly swimming lessons and supporting during off-site activities.
Delivering targeted small-group and one-to-one interventions, including:
Phonics support
Guided reading and pre-teaching sessions
Speech and Language interventions (desirable)
Essential Requirements
HLTA status is essential for this post.
Proven classroom experience and confidence in delivering teaching and leading learning.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
A commitment to supporting the progress, well-being, and inclusion of all pupils.
