Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)
Location: Halifax, West Yorkshire
Salary: £100–£130 per day (depending on experience)
Contract Type: Full-time, Part-Time
Start Date: ASAP
Are you a passionate and experienced HLTA ready to make a meaningful impact in a vibrant school community? The Education Network is seeking a dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join our team and support pupils across EYFS, KS1, and KS2.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead whole-class teaching in the absence of a teacher
Deliver targeted interventions and small group support
Assist with lesson planning and curriculum delivery
Support pupils with SEND, EAL, and additional learning needs
Promote positive behaviour and pupil engagement
Collaborate with teachers and SENCO to enhance learning outcomesRelevant Qualifications:
Hold HLTA status or equivalent qualification
Proven experience supporting teaching and learning
Confident in leading lessons and managing classroom behaviour
Strong communication and organisational skills
Committed to safeguarding and promoting pupil welfare
Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
