The School and Role
We are looking for a full-time Higher Level Teaching Assistant on behalf of a small, friendly primary school in the NE5 area of Newcastle. The successful Higher Level Teaching Assistant will be expected to deliver both general support and occasional taught lessons, working as part of an established across the whole school. The role would be for three days a week, 8.30am – 3.30pm. This school operates within an ethos emphasising both quality and comprehensive teaching and support to deliver an excellent pupil development programme. The school is seeking a Level 4 qualified Teaching Assistant at minimum, however would be open to other teaching qualifications if they are relevant.
Requirements
The desired Higher Level Teaching Assistant will have;
Experience of working with primary school aged children
Experience delivering teaching and support to primary school aged children
A passion for ensuring the progress of pupils
An ability to work as part of a team
A Level 4 Teaching Assistant qualification at minimum, however other relevant teaching qualifications are applicable
