Highways Supervisor - Liverpool
My client, a leading highways and infrastructure contractor, is seeking an experienced Highways Supervisor to oversee highways maintenance and improvement works across the Liverpool area. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with proven supervisory experience to take the lead on projects that directly enhance local communities and improve the roads and infrastructure relied upon every day.

The Role - Highways Supervisor
The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising highways projects from inception through to completion, ensuring delivery to the highest standards of safety, quality, and efficiency. This role involves managing site teams, liaising with stakeholders, and keeping projects on track.
Key responsibilities include:
·Supervising highways maintenance and improvement projects
·Ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, and in line with specifications
·Coordinating site teams, subcontractors, and resources
·Conducting site inspections and ensuring compliance with health & safety standards
·Liaising with local authorities, clients, and the wider project team
·Reporting progress, issues, and solutions to senior management
Candidate Requirements
To be considered for this role, candidates should demonstrate:
·Proven experience in highways supervision within a local authority environment
·A valid CSCS card
·Strong leadership and team management skills
·A solid understanding of health & safety requirements in highways works
·Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
Salary & Benefits
·£50,000 annual salary
·Company pension scheme
·25 days annual leave plus bank holidays
