Highways Operatives (Basic & Skilled) – Gloucestershire
Job Type: Temp to Perm
Hours: 40 hours per week, 7:30am start
Overtime: Paid beyond 40 hours
Depots: Various across Gloucestershire (GL7 5DT, Bamfurlong, and others)

Basic Highways Operative

Requirements:

Right to work in the UK

Valid UK Driving Licence (essential)
*
Experience in manual labour roles, ideally outdoors (construction, refuse/waste, factories etc.)
*
Willingness to train and upskill (training provided)
Skilled Highways Operative
*
Pay: £13.31 per hour PAYE
*
Requirements:
*
Right to work in the UK
*
Valid UK Driving Licence (essential)
*
NVQ Level 2
*
HGV Licence
*
18 months+ highways or construction experience
*
Able to carry out safety, quality, and environmental audits and risk assessments
*
Confident with traffic management responsibilities
*
Skilled in use of tools/equipment (e.g. 180-degree JCB, power tools)
*
Capable of using PDA and giving clear instructions
