Freelance Highways Site Manager – Goole (4-Month Contract)
Contract Position | Goole | Minor Civils | Approx. 4 Months | Competitive Day Rate
We are seeking an experienced Freelance Site Manager to oversee a minor civils highways project just outside Goole. This is a 4-month contract role, ideal for someone with a solid background in highways maintenance, small-scale civils works, and site supervision.
Role Responsibilities:
Oversee day-to-day site operations and ensure works are delivered on time and to specification
Manage subcontractors and ensure HSEQ compliance across the site
Liaise with clients, local authorities, and project stakeholders
Report progress and manage documentation related to the works
Coordinate traffic management, utilities, and public interface where necessary
Requirements:
✅ Proven experience as a Site Manager in highways or minor civils
✅ SMSTS, CSCS (Black/Gold card preferred), and First Aid certified, safety critical medical is a MUST!
✅ Strong knowledge of health & safety regulations and site management best practices
✅ Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to site daily
✅ Able to start within the next 1–2 weeks
