History and RS Teacher - Long-Term Role (Tuesdays & Thursdays)
Location: Warrington
Contract: Part-time, Long-term
Days: Tuesday & Thursday
Are you a passionate and dedicated History and RS Teacher looking for a rewarding long-term opportunity? We are seeking an enthusiastic teacher to join a highly regarded and popular secondary school on a part-time basis, teaching across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
This is an excellent opportunity for a committed professional who can inspire students and deliver engaging lessons in both History and Religious Studies.
The Role
As a History and RS Teacher, you will be responsible for:
Planning, preparing and delivering high-quality lessons in History and Religious Studies.
Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment that challenges and supports pupils.
Assessing, recording and reporting on the development and progress of students.
Managing classroom behaviour effectively to ensure a focused learning environment.
Contributing to the wider school community, including attending meetings and supporting school initiatives.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must have:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Strong subject knowledge in both History and Religious Studies.
Experience teaching in UK secondary schools, ideally across KS3 and KS4.
Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
A genuine passion for education and the ability to motivate and inspire young people.
