Job Description

Prospero Teaching are looking for a Secondary Humanities Teacher to teach both History and Geography in a school in the Basildon area, starting ASAP.

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated teacher who can confidently deliver engaging lessons across both subjects. Strong behaviour management skills and a commitment to inspiring students are essential.

CONTRACT DETAILS

Location - Basildon
 Position - Secondary Humanities Teacher (History & Geography)
 Type of work - Full-time teaching role
 Start date - ASAP
 Duration / Likely Duration - Long-term with potential to become permanent
 Full time/part-time - Full-time
 Hours - 08:00am - 15:45pm (Monday to Friday)

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

QTS, QTLS, PGCE or equivalent
Experience teaching History and/or Geography in a UK secondary school
Up-to-date Safeguarding training (issued within the last year)

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

Hold Right to Work in the UK
Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to apply for a new one
Provide two professional child-related references
