Are you a dedicated and enthusiastic History Teacher looking for a new opportunity in Milton Keynes? A highly respected secondary school in the area is seeking a passionate individual to join their team from September 2025.
This is a fantastic chance to teach in a well-supported and forward-thinking school environment that values innovation in education and is committed to delivering high standards of teaching and learning. You will play a key role in inspiring pupils and helping them develop a strong understanding of History.
The Role:
Teach History to pupils across Key Stages 3 and 4
Plan and deliver engaging and informative lessons in line with the national curriculum
Assess, monitor and support pupil progress through effective feedback
Contribute to the wider school community, including events and parent engagement
The Ideal Candidate:
Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Has a degree in History or a related subject
Experience teaching History at secondary school level
Strong classroom management skills and the ability to differentiate effectively
Excellent communication and organisational abilities
