Teacher of History (KS3-5) - Outstanding Portsmouth School - Sept 2025
Outstanding mixed secondary school in Portsmouth seeks an enthusiastic and dedicated Full-Time Teacher of History for a permanent position starting September 2025. Our school is celebrated for its academic rigour and nurturing environment within this historically rich city.
We require an inspiring educator to deliver engaging and highly effective History lessons across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5. * Proven experience teaching History at Key Stage 3, Key Stage 4 (GCSE), and Key Stage 5 (A-Level), with a track record of achieving excellent student outcomes.
* Outstanding classroom management skills and the ability to cultivate a positive, disciplined, and productive learning environment.
* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with students, parents, and colleagues, and contributing positively to the wider school community.
* A firm commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people, adhering to all school policies and statutory requirements.
