History Teacher – KS3 & KS4
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated History Teacher to join a dynamic and supportive Humanities department in a thriving mainstream secondary school in Walsall. This is a full-time permanent position starting in September 2025, suitable for both experienced teachers and ECTs with a passion for delivering engaging and thought-provoking History lessons.
The Role:

Teach History across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4
*
Plan and deliver creative, well-structured lessons that inspire a love of history
*
Support students of varying abilities, ensuring progress for all
*
Contribute to departmental planning, assessment, and curriculum development
*
Participate in extracurricular activities and school events
The Ideal Candidate:

A qualified teacher (QTS or QTLS)
*
Strong subject knowledge in History
*
Experience teaching KS3 and KS4 (GCSE) History
*
High expectations for student achievement and behaviour
*
A team player with excellent communication and organisational skills
