An Outstanding girls' school in Camden is seeking a talented individual to join their dynamic Humanities department as KS3 History Coordinator for a permanent, full-time position this September. This is a fantastic opportunity to shape the foundational historical understanding of young minds.
What you'll be doing:
* You'll be designing and delivering engaging History lessons, primarily across Key Stage 3, and also at Key Stage 4.
* As KS3 History Coordinator, you will oversee curriculum development, assessment, and student progress for History at Key Stage 3.
* It's about fostering rigorous historical inquiry, encouraging source analysis, and developing students' understanding of diverse periods and themes.
What we're looking for:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialism in History.
* Proven experience teaching History effectively at Key Stage 3 and 4.

* A deep and current understanding of the History curriculum and a commitment to innovative teaching methods.
* Strong communication skills, effective classroom management, and a genuine ability to inspire a love of history.
