Your Role and Responsibilities As a Teacher of History, you will: * Plan and deliver engaging, challenging, and differentiated History lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 (GCSE). * Deliver high-quality Key Stage 5 (A-Level) teaching, inspiring students to achieve academic excellence and prepare for higher education. * Inspire students to develop a strong understanding and passion for historical inquiry, critical analysis, and nuanced interpretation. * Utilise a variety of effective teaching methods to cater to diverse learning styles and abilities, fostering an inquiry-based approach. * Assess student progress regularly, providing timely, constructive feedback and contributing to comprehensive student reports. * Contribute actively to the ongoing development of the History curriculum and departmental resources, ensuring they remain current and engaging. * Participate in and, where appropriate, lead extracurricular history activities, enriching the learning experience for all students. * Act as a form tutor and contribute positively to the wider life of the school community. What We're Looking For * Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is preferred, alongside a strong academic background in History at degree level or equivalent.
