Job Title: History Teacher Location: Newham Contract: Full-time, long-term Start Date: September Bring the past to life in an inclusive and dynamic East London school. A forward-thinking and supportive secondary school in Newham is seeking a passionate History Teacher to join their Humanities department this September. This is a full-time, long-term position ideal for a teacher confident in delivering engaging history lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the potential to teach KS5 for the right candidate. The school has a strong academic ethos and values historical education as a foundation for critical thinking, cultural awareness, and civic responsibility. They are keen to recruit an educator who can connect the curriculum to students’ lives and the wider world.
