GSL Education are currently seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable History Teacher to join a welcoming school in Dinnington. This is an exciting opportunity for an educator who wants to help students explore significant events, civilisations, and movements that have shaped our world.
As a History Teacher, you will deliver engaging and thought-provoking lessons across Key Stages. Your role will be to help students develop a deeper understanding of historical events, enhance their analytical and writing skills, and make connections between the past and the present.
Responsibilities as a History Teacher:
Plan and deliver well-structured History lessons aligned with the national curriculum.
Inspire curiosity through discussion, debate, and critical thinking.
Monitor student progress and provide clear feedback and academic support.

Contribute to departmental planning, enrichment activities, and wider school life.
Requirements for the History Teacher role:
UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
A degree in History or a related subject.
Experience teaching History in a UK school setting.
Excellent subject knowledge and classroom management skills.
A commitment to high-quality teaching and student development.
Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
