Role Overview:
As a History Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering dynamic and informative lessons across Key Stages, encouraging students to think critically and make connections between historical events and contemporary issues.
Responsibilities as a History Teacher:
Plan and deliver engaging History lessons in line with the national curriculum.
Inspire curiosity and critical thinking through storytelling and enquiry-based learning.
Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
Differentiate instruction to support diverse learning needs.
Contribute to departmental planning and whole-school initiatives.
Requirements for the History Teacher role:
UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
A degree in History or a related subject.
Experience teaching History in a UK school setting.
Strong classroom management and communication skills.
A commitment to high-quality teaching and student achievement.
Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
A full, up-to-date CV with explanations for any gaps in employment in the last 10 years.
