GSL Education are looking for a passionate History Teacher to join a thriving educational environment in Brentwood. The History Teacher will be responsible for delivering engaging and insightful lessons that bring history to life for students, fostering a love for the subject.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver high-quality history lessons that inspire students to explore the past.
Support students in developing critical thinking and analytical skills through the study of historical events and figures.
Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to enhance their understanding of the subject.
Contribute to the history curriculum, ensuring it is comprehensive and engaging.
Collaborate with colleagues to create a stimulating and supportive learning environment.
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with experience teaching History.
Strong subject knowledge and a passion for the subject.
Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of students.
