We are seeking a dynamic and committed History Teacher to join a supportive and forward-thinking secondary school in Harwich, starting as soon as possible.
Location: Harwich, Essex
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Type: Full-time, Temporary/Permanent (flexible depending on the candidate)
Salary: MPS/UPS (dependent on experience)
About the Role:
As our new History Teacher, you will:
· Deliver engaging and high-quality History lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
· Inspire students to think critically about the world around them through the study of past events and societies
· Contribute to a collaborative and thriving Humanities department
· Support pupils of all abilities to reach their full academic potential
What Were Looking For:
· A qualified teacher (QTS or equivalent) with a specialism in History
· Strong classroom management and excellent subject knowledge
· A passion for teaching and a commitment to high standards of learning and student progress
· A team player with excellent communication skills and a proactive attitude
