The Role:
As a History Teacher, you’ll do more than just teach dates and facts — you’ll ignite curiosity, spark debate, and help students think like historians. You’ll have full support from an established humanities department, access to excellent facilities, and the freedom to deliver lessons that truly engage and inspire.
What We’re Looking For:
• Right to work in the UK
• Bachelor’s degree in History, Politics, or a related field (ESSENTIAL)
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• A passion for storytelling, culture, and education
• Ability to connect with young people and make history feel alive
• Enthusiastic, adaptable, and calm under pressure
• Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
• Based in South West or South East London or within a commutable distance
