Job Overview:
We are currently recruiting on behalf of a leading building services and maintenance provider for a skilled and experienced HIU Engineer. This role focuses on the maintenance, servicing, and repair of Heat Interface Units (HIUs), primarily within district heating networks and multi-residential developments.
This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer looking to work on modern energy systems with a company that offers consistent work, a strong support structure, and potential for long-term development.
Key Responsibilities:

Carry out servicing and repairs on Heat Interface Units (HIUs)
*
Respond to reactive maintenance calls and fault finding
*
Perform routine PPMs
*
Work within domestic and commercial settings, mainly on district heating systems
*
Ensure work is completed in line with manufacturer guidelines and safety regulations
*
Provide excellent customer service, particularly in occupied residential settings
Requirements:
*
Proven experience working with HIUs and communal/district heating systems
*
Plumbing or heating qualifications (NVQ Level 2 or 3, or equivalent)
*
Good understanding of heating controls and building services
*
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
*
Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
