The role:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate HLTA to support teaching and learning across the school, with a focus on pupils with SEND. This is a rewarding role for someone committed to inclusive practice and making a positive difference in children’s lives.
Key responsibilities:

Lead whole-class and small-group sessions under teacher guidance

Deliver differentiated and targeted learning tasks, including SEND support
*
Support personalised learning with adapted resources and interventions
*
Contribute to a positive, calm, and inclusive classroom environment
*
Track pupil progress and support planning and assessment
*
Collaborate with teachers, families, and external professionals
Person specification:
*
HLTA qualification (or equivalent)
*
Experience supporting primary-aged pupils, ideally including SEND
*
Confident adapting learning for varied abilities
*
Strong communication and collaboration skills
*
Empathetic, patient, and reflective
