Are you a passionate educator looking to make a genuine difference in an Alternative Provision setting? We are currently seeking a dedicated Tutor or Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our team in Burnley for an immediate start.

Position: 1:1 Tutor / HLTA
Setting: Alternative Provision (On-site)
Location: Burnley
Start Date: ASAP
Schedule: Monday to Friday (Full-time)
Daily Pay: £121.89 - £145.89 (Based on experience)
What Makes This Role Different?

Unlike traditional classroom roles, you will be working on a 1:1 basis with pupils. You will have the benefit of your own dedicated classroom space on-site, allowing you to create a tailored, low-pressure learning environment that meets the specific needs of each student.

Delivering personalised learning sessions to engage students with complex needs.
Building strong, trusting rapport to support both academic and emotional growth.
Managing your own classroom environment to ensure a safe and productive space.
Collaborating with the wider school team to track progress and well-being.
Who We Are Looking For

We need someone resilient, empathetic, and adaptable. Whether you are an experienced HLTA or a Tutor with a background in SEN/SEMH, your ability to connect with "hard to reach" learners is what matters most.

Requirements:

Previous experience working with children in an educational or alternative setting.
Strong behaviour management skills and a patient approach.
Reliability to commit to a full-time, Monday-Friday schedule.
An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).
