Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)

Location: Kingswood, South Gloucestershire

Pay: Starting at £100 per day

ANZUK Education are seeking confident, skilled professionals ready to step into a Higher-Level Teaching Assistant role, taking on a more involved position within the classroom. This includes leading KS1 and/or KS2 lessons when required, supporting lesson preparation, and contributing directly to teaching and learning. If you’re motivated by greater responsibility and keen to use your experience to support pupils and staff, we’d love to hear from you.

Requirements of a Higher-Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA):

  * Demonstrate a minimum of six months of hands-on experience working with children in an educational setting

  * Hold an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) certificate, ensuring compliance with the highest standards of safeguarding

  * Legal entitlement to work in the United Kingdom, with appropriate documentation

  * Demonstrate proficient communication and interpersonal skills, highlighting the skill to engage with students of varied learning needs

  * Display patience, empathy, and a genuine dedication to supporting children, especially those with SEN and SEMH requirements

  * Capable of collaborating effectively within a team, cultivating an inclusive learning environment

Please note: Possession of a Level 4 Teaching Assistant Qualification or a Degree-level qualification in a relevant field is desirable.
