Location: Wigan
Salary: £110 - £135 per day (depending on experience)
Contract Type: Full-time, long-term

Are you an experienced and confident Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) looking to make a meaningful impact? Tradewind Recruitment is proud to be supporting one of our valued Alternative Provision partner schools in Wigan, as they look to appoint a passionate HLTA to join their dedicated team.

About the Role:
Deliver planned lessons and interventions across KS3 and KS4 in the absence of teaching staff
Support pupils with social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs
Work closely with teaching staff to support individual learning plans and classroom delivery
Lead small group activities and provide tailored support to students with additional needs
Promote positive behaviour and model resilience and consistencyThe Ideal Candidate:
HLTA qualification (or equivalent experience in a similar role)
Experience in an Alternative Provision, PRU, or SEMH environment is highly desirable
Strong classroom management and behaviour support skills
Passionate about supporting vulnerable and disengaged learners
Calm, patient and adaptable with a nurturing approachAbout the School:
