The Role – HLTA
We are looking for a skilled and proactive Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a fantastic SEN school in Hackney. This is a full-time role starting immediately. You will be supporting pupils with a range of additional needs including ASD, ADHD, MLD, and communication difficulties.
Your responsibilities will include, supporting class teachers with daily learning and classroom activities, leading small group or one-to-one interventions, covering lessons in the absence of the teacher, helping to create a positive, inclusive and engaging learning environment The ideal HLTA will be confident, patient, and able to adapt quickly to individual pupil needs. Prior SEN experience is essential, and an HLTA qualification or equivalent is preferred.
