Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)

£100 - £120 a day

Randstad Education is proud to be partnering with a welcoming and forward-thinking primary school in Ely to recruit a dedicated and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA). This long-term, ongoing role offers an exciting opportunity to support students' learning and development in a nurturing and collaborative environment.
You will play a key role in supporting class teachers, delivering small group and one-to-one interventions, and helping create a positive and inclusive classroom experience. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a passionate team committed to inspiring the next generation.
Responsibilities:
Support class teachers in planning and delivering engaging lessons
Lead small group sessions and one-to-one interventions
Provide classroom cover when required
Assist in monitoring and assessing pupil progress
Contribute to the creation of educational resources and learning activities
Promote the school's values and ethos through positive interactions with pupils, staff, and families
Requirements:
HLTA (Higher Level Teaching Assistant) qualification or equivalent
Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one through Randstad)
Eligibility to work in the UK (sponsorship not available)
Solid understanding of the primary curriculum
Strong behaviour management and communication skills
A genuine passion for supporting children's education and development
