Full-Time | Long-Term Placement | Competitive Daily Rate | Primary & Secondary Schools
We are currently recruiting for a committed and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join schools in the Huntingdon area this September. If you're passionate about supporting learning, leading small groups, and stepping up to cover classes when needed, this could be the perfect next step in your education career.
About the Role:
As a HLTA, you'll be working closely with teachers and school leadership to deliver lessons, support pupils across a range of abilities, and provide targeted interventions. You'll also be confident in taking responsibility for leading sessions in the teacher's absence.
What We're Looking For:
HLTA qualification or equivalent experience
Proven experience in a school setting (primary or secondary)
Strong classroom management and communication skills
Ability to deliver lessons and lead small groups independently
A positive, flexible and proactive approach
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
