Job Title: Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) – Part Time
Location: Chelmsford, Essex
Pay Rate: £100 – £130 per day
Contract Type: Part Time / Flexible
Are you an experienced HLTA looking for a rewarding role in a supportive school environment? We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic HLTA to join a vibrant school in Chelmsford on a part-time basis.
Key Responsibilities:

Support teaching and learning across the school, working with individuals, small groups, and whole classes.
*
Deliver planned lessons in the absence of a teacher.
*
Assist in creating a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.
*
Provide tailored support to pupils with additional needs.
*
Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff.
Requirements:
*
HLTA qualification (or equivalent experience).
*
Strong classroom management skills.
*
A positive, flexible, and proactive attitude.
*
Previous experience supporting learning in a school setting.
*
The successful applicant is expected to have maths and English (GCSE grade C/4 and above) or alternatively a suitable childcare qualification. Experience and personality are equally desirable. Being able to work in a team as well as individually is important to provide maximum support to the class teacher.
