Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) – October Start – Borough of Greenwich - £26,030-£30,000 - (Salary dependent on experience) - All Through PRU school - Long-Term
* HLTA required for a high-performing alternative provision (PRU)
* HLTA based in the London Borough of Greenwich
* HLTA working across KS2–KS4 supporting pupils with SEMH and complex needs
* HLTA required full-time, long-term role starting after October half term

The Role – HLTA
You will be part of a dedicated and multi-disciplinary team supporting pupils with SEMH and complex needs. The role involves leading small group sessions, delivering targeted interventions, and working closely with teachers, therapists, and pastoral staff to improve outcomes for every child. You’ll need to be confident, nurturing, and committed to helping students become independent and well-rounded individuals.
The School – Greenwich
This is a high-performing alternative provision set in the Royal Borough of Greenwich. The school is known for its inclusive ethos, strong pastoral care, and commitment to removing barriers to learning. Staff work alongside Educational Psychologists, Speech and Language Therapists, CAMHS link workers, and other specialists to support student progress.
