Are you a qualified Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) looking for your next role in a vibrant and diverse area of London? SANZA Teaching Agency is recruiting talented and dedicated HLTAs to work in primary schools across East London, including Hackney, Tower Hamlets, Newham, and surrounding boroughs.
We work with a wide network of supportive and inclusive schools that value the role HLTAs play in helping pupils thrive academically and socially.
🎯 Your Key Responsibilities:
Delivering planned lessons across EYFS, KS1 or KS2 in the absence of a teacher
Supporting class teachers with preparation, interventions, and assessments
Leading small group work or catch-up sessions
Supporting pupils with additional needs, including SEND and EAL
Contributing to the wider life of the school
✅ Ideal Candidate Profile:
HLTA qualification (or equivalent experience with willingness to train)
Proven experience supporting teaching and learning in primary schools
Confident managing whole-class teaching when required
Flexible, proactive, and passionate about helping children succeed
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
