Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) - PPA Cover (Computing)
📍 Slough | 3-Form Entry Primary School
📅 Start Date: September 2025 | Full Academic Year
🕗 Full-Time: Mon-Thurs (8:15am-4:00pm), Fri (8:15am-3:30pm)
Are you a confident and experienced HLTA with a passion for Computing and a talent for engaging pupils across the primary age range?
An excellent 3-form entry primary school in Slough is seeking a full-time HLTA to join their team from September 2025 to provide PPA cover, with a focus on delivering high-quality computing lessons.
About the Role:
Deliver engaging computing lessons from Reception to Year 6, following pre-planned schemes of work
Provide general PPA cover
Work collaboratively with teaching staff to ensure continuity of learning
Support a range of abilities, including EAL and SEND pupils
Ensure a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
HLTA qualification or equivalent experience in a UK primary school
Strong ICT skills and confidence teaching computing lessons
Excellent classroom management and behaviour strategies
Ability to build strong relationships with staff and pupils
Flexibility and enthusiasm to work across all year groups
