A dynamic and inclusive secondary school in Swindon is seeking a capable and committed Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join their team on a temporary basis. In this role, you won't just support-you'll lead. Whether you're stepping in to cover a lesson or working closely with pupils who need extra support, you'll be a key part of the teaching and learning team.
🔎 What You'll Be Doing:
Delivering pre-planned lessons in the absence of a teacher
Supporting students 1:1, in small groups, and in full classes
Working alongside teachers to improve pupil engagement and outcomes
Helping to manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive environment
Offering support to students with a range of needs, including SEN
🧩 Who We're Looking For:
A qualified HLTA or someone with significant classroom experience at HLTA level
Confident in leading lessons and managing behaviour independently
Skilled at building positive relationships with students and staff
Reliable, flexible, and calm under pressure
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
Eligible to work in the UK (no sponsorship available)
