Job Description
Hoist Operator needed in Bracknell
* Start Date: 6th June
* Type: Long-Term Work
* Hours: 07:30 – 17:30 (9.5 hours paid)
* Rate: £17 per hour (PAYE Umbrella)
Job Description:
We are looking for a reliable and experienced Hoist Operator to work on a long-term new build project in Bracknell. You will be responsible for the safe operation of a passenger/goods hoist, supporting the movement of personnel and materials across multiple levels of the site.
Key Duties:
* Operate the hoist safely and efficiently in line with site requirements and safety procedures
* Assist with the loading and unloading of materials
* Coordinate with site supervisors and trades teams to ensure smooth lifting operations
* Carry out daily checks on hoist equipment and report any faults
* Maintain cleanliness and safety in and around the hoist area
* Follow all health & safety regulations and site rules
Requirements:
* Valid Blue CPCS Hoist Operator Card
* Proven experience working on construction sites in a similar role
* Ability to communicate clearly and work well as part of a team
* Two recent work references
* Right to work in the UK
* Punctual, safety-conscious, and able to follow instruction
Payment via PAYE Umbrella:
You will be paid through an umbrella company that handles tax, National Insurance, and statutory contributions on your behalf. This method ensures you remain compliant with UK tax laws while giving access to holiday pay and other employment rights. A weekly payroll fee may apply.
