Your new company
Excellent opportunity to join a social housing provider as a field-based Repairs Surveyor. You will be joining a proactive and friendly team and will be responsible for properties across the Hertfordshire and Essex patch.
Your new role
As the Repairs Surveyor, you will play a key role in ensuring the housing stock is maintained to the highest standards. Based from home you will travel to properties to carry out inspections, diagnose issues and oversee repair works. As part of the role you will conduct property inspections to assess repair needs and ensure compliance with health and safety standards. You will specify appropriate remedial works and manage contractors to monitor the quality and progress of repairs.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful for this role you should have an HNC in Surveying or Construction (or similar) and be willing to travel around Hertfordshire and Essex daily from your home location. Proven experience in a similar surveying or property maintenance role is essential and a background in social housing is beneficial. A full driving licence is required for this role and a vehicle will be provided for work purposes.
