Home Manager – Elderly Nursing Home
Salary: £70,000 per annum + Bonus
Location: Newbury, Berkshire
Compass Associates are proud to be working alongside a valued client in their search for a Registered Manager for their fantastic medium sized nursing home based near the Newbury area. The home boasts a fantastic reputation within the area, with a strong ethos for delivering quality of life for their residents and promoting a positive and progressive culture for staff. The client is very much open to speaking with experienced and dynamic Registered Managers who can evidence previous success in a elderly nursing home environment
Key Responsibilities:
• Operational Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the home, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care and services to all residents.
• Staff Leadership: Recruit, train, and manage a team of healthcare professionals and support staff. Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork and professional growth.
• Financial Oversight: Manage the homes budget, monitor expenses, and ensure financial sustainability. Identify opportunities for cost savings and revenue generation.
• Family and Community Relations: Build strong relationships with residents’ families, addressing concerns and ensuring satisfaction with our services. Represent the home in the local community and maintain a positive image.
• Continuously assess and improve the quality of care and services. Implement best practices and innovative solutions to enhance the resident experience.
Qualifications:
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience within a elderly nursing home environment as a Registered Home Manager
• Underpinning nursing background is desirable but not essential
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
• Sound understanding of CQC compliance and quality frameworks
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
