Location: Bridgend
Salary: £35,000–£40,000 (depending on experience)
Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Orbis Education and Care is excited to welcome a passionate and driven Home Manager to launch and develop our new four-bed residential home for adults with complex needs associated with autism, opening soon in Bridgend.

Your Role as Home Manager
As the Home Manager, you’ll have the unique chance to shape a new service from the very beginning. You’ll lead and inspire a dedicated team, creating a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment grounded in respect, dignity, and high-quality care.
You’ll play a key role in guiding your team to deliver the very best support every day by coaching, motivating, and empowering them to provide compassionate, person-centred care. By building a positive, open, and collaborative culture, you’ll ensure your team feel confident, valued, and equipped to help each individual thrive.
Whether you’re already an experienced manager or a confident Deputy Manager looking to step into your first registered manager role, you will be supported to succeed. You’ll champion best practice, promote Positive Behaviour Support (PBS), and ensure residents receive the highest standard of care.
What We’re Looking For
QCF Level 5 in Health and Social Care (or working towards)
Leadership experience in a care setting or experience as a Deputy Manager with ambition to progress into a Home Manager role.
Solid understanding of adult care regulations and best practice.
Experience supporting individuals with learning disabilities and/or autism.
A genuine passion for improving the lives of adults with complex needs.
A full UK driving licence (essential).Please note: This role involves regulated activity with adults and requires an enhanced DBS with barred list check.
